Details

I/O: Digital in: AES/EBU XLR (24-bit single-wire), SPDIF RCA, TOSLINK optical, USB 2.0, optional RJ45 Ethernet. Analog out: balanced XLR (+22dBm max, 40 ohm), unbalanced RCA (+8dBm/2V RMS). D/A conversion only, no analog input / no A/D.

Notes: Bricasti's professional/reference D/A converter (D/A only, not A/D despite AD/DA Converter category). Bricasti pro site lists no price; ~$7,000 USD is a dealer (Professional Audio Design) list price seen at research time (unit shown sold-out there) - flagged as unconfirmed street price, not official MSRP. Chassis dimensions given as 17in x 12in x 4.5in / 15 lbs; some dealer listings call it a '2U rack' unit but 17in width is narrower than standard 19in rack width, so rack-mount form factor is NOT confirmed by Bricasti and left blank rather than guessed. Dynamic range >120dB A-weighted, THD+N 0.0006% @0dBFS, jitter 8psec@48kHz / 6psec@96kHz. Distinct from the similarly-named consumer/hi-fi M1 DAC (bricasti.com/en/consumer/) which was excluded as out of pro scope.
