Decoding to standard surround channels is now done via the free SCHOEPS 'Double MS' software plugin (2018) rather than a hardware matrix box - the older MDMS U passive hardware matrix is CONFIRMED DISCONTINUED (schoeps.de discontinued-products page, July 2026) and is intentionally excluded from this catalog.
